Over at Adweek, our CEO Tamara Littleton has taken an insightful look at the recent leak of some of Facebook’s moderation guidelines to the Guardian.

Tamara talks about how the leaks could be the start of something great for social media – an effective way to curb the abuse, hate speech and illegal content on social platforms

“As the leader of the space, Facebook can and should lead the charge by supporting its human-led moderation with better technology. It must invest in machine learning to assist its moderation team… While most machine learning is currently English-only, there’s no reason why Facebook couldn’t develop it to handle scores of global languages.”
