London, 1st April 2020: The Social Element has today announced that Blaise Grimes-Viort is leaving the agency after nine years.

Blaise has been a key part of the leadership team that helped to turn the agency from its early days as a moderation business to the consultancy-led social media agency it is today, offering ground-breaking social strategy, creative and engagement to some of the world’s biggest brands.

Tamara Littleton, CEO, said: ““Blaise joined us back in November 2010 as Head of Community and Engagement, and has been instrumental in growing the agency to where we are now. His talent, intelligence, dedication and drive have been key in our success so far, and he will be sorely missed. I wish him the best of luck with his future consultancy projects.”

Blaise Grimes-Viort, Former Chief Services Officer, said: “I am incredibly proud of the work I led over the past nine years, successfully diversifying revenue streams and developing innovative social media solutions for global clients. It’s been a privilege having the opportunity to work with bright lights of the industry over my time at the agency. This is an organisation that has a forward-thinking approach to social media branding and communications, underpinned by a philosophy of continuous improvement, which will serve it well into the future.”

Head of Strategy, Tom Wrigley, will take over strategy and consultancy services to clients, and Head of Communications and Engagement, Lisa Barnett, will lead engagement services and crisis management. Both will report into CEO, Tamara Littleton.
