The Question

For the retail sector, it doesn’t get much bigger than Christmas.

For an ambitious Westfield team, the question was simple, how could we best translate digital scale into real-world footfall at the time of year when it mattered the most?

               

The Thinking

We decided that we needed to create deep levels of interactivity and participation to deliver the emotional pull to an IRL moment, and continue the story through on-site at Westfield.

More than that, we needed to clearly demonstrate the value of Westfield as the only place to shop at Christmas.

The Answer

Nothing does anticipation like unwrapping a Christmas gift.

We built a social based advent calendar for Westfield, allowing users to unwrap an exciting new offer every day.

Once on-site, the hunt was on and the gifts got bigger. Literally, much bigger. Using AR we delivered a digital OOH moment unlike any other in London.
