SXSW 2018 Learnings from Day 2 – Diversity, Child Safety and AR

We sent a team to Austin, Texas, for the famous South by Southwest festival and the learnings they’re already delivering to the agency are wonderful! In an effort to keep you all in the loop, here are some videos they created for you at the end of Day 2.

Diversity and influencers is not only important, it pays off, too!

Tamara Littleton, our CEO, shares: there is data to back up the fact that using a diverse pool of influencers is good for a business’ bottom line. One more argument for helping brands pay more attention to their influencer campaigns!

Children and social media:

Ashley Cooksley, our CMO, heard reassuring (and scary, depending on how you see it) things from the big social media platforms. They firmly believe that 13 is the right age for children to use their channels and that younger children are not yet equipped to deal with social media and its ramifications.

Innovations and AR:

Adam Serota, our Technical Director, shares: innovation in AR might be frightening for humanity; at the same time, it is an exciting look at what the future holds!
