The retail industry is a tough, competitive one. Even more so on social media with so many online brands and influencers about. The key is to connect with your customers, turn them into fans and maintain brand loyalty. How can a global brand stay aware of conversations and engaged with its customers and targets across multiple platforms and languages? How can Primark ensure they seize opportunities to connect and turn customers into fans?<\/h4>\n

We rolled up our sleeves and got to work. After assessing the ecosystem Primark was evolving in, we launched a team of over 30 people to work seven days a week to ensure Primark customers in these markets receive a top quality experience with this brand’s social media profiles. With the data we gathered, we were able to optimise the system, see opportunities and fuel business improvement.<\/h4>\n

We ensure the brand connects with its fans through moderation, localisation, community management and insight in six languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch and German. Our Insights loop allows learnings in one market to be fed back and applied to all other existing and new markets. Working in-synch with Primark we optimised thousands of pieces of content across 6 different markets and languages, over the course of one year.<\/span><\/h4>\n

When world-renowned contemporary artist Olafur Eliasson reached out to us, we were honoured by the opportunity to contribute to his latest project, both because of the cause it supported, and because we\u2019re such big fans of his work. The Danish-Icelandic artist is known internationally for applying scientific principles in order to explore our relationship to time and space, and Earth Speakr was taking this idea to a whole new scale.<\/h4>\n

A truly global project, its goal was to give children from the entire world the chance to speak up about the planet and the change they want to see, in a way that will make adults listen and take notice.<\/h4>\n

The end of their first period of engagement was coming to an end, and Earth Speakr was struggling to reach its targets for app install. Olafur Eliasson\u2019s team turned to us, and asked if we could work some magic to help them reach these ambitious goals on time. Our team worked with Studio Olafur to map out a plan and outline how we were going to reach the download goal over the next 2 weeks. Through our human-first approach, we knew to look first at human behaviours. We also knew that to work on a project of this scale, we had to widen our horizons and think globally.
