In the wake of Twitter\u2019s takeover by Elon Musk<\/a>, the decentralised social media site Mastodon<\/strong><\/a> has seen a record number of sign-ups, with 233K new users in the last week alone. However, Mastodon\u2019s infrastructure has been struggling to accommodate the influx of these new users.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

A select group of creators in the US now have the ability to not only display NFTs on their Instagram profiles, but to also mint and sell<\/strong><\/a> them to their followers. Meta is currently testing their end-to-end digital collectibles toolkit on the Polygon blockchain, and even expanding it to include support for video digital collectibles<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
