A new role for the agency – VP of Social and Influencer
This week we have announced Shea Carter to the position of VP of Social and Influencer. With more than 15 years of experience, Carter enters a newly formed role at the agency where she’ll be responsible for the delivery of social media and influencer management services across its North American clients.
Client turned colleague
Carter most recently led Integrated Marketing for Wrangler jeans at Kontoor Brands, where she built Wrangler’s social media team from the ground up. By operationalizing social media throughout the broader organization and connecting social media to ecommerce, corporate communications, consumer care and consumer insights, she helped expand the brand’s reach to new generations and audiences. Carter brought The Social Element on board to support Wrangler in 2021 as an extension of the brand’s in-house team, collaborating to drive awareness and brand love.

Carter’s position at The Social Element builds upon our momentum to make social better for clients and the communities they grow and build, driving social-first solutions and accelerating the agency’s influencer marketing services.

Prior to Kontoor Brands, Carter also brings a wealth of award winning agency knowledge from, French West Vaughan and MMGY Global, each with a diverse portfolio of clients across lifestyle, travel, hospitality and entertainment industries, including Disney, Lufthansa and Princess Cruises.
