Leadership latest and a refreshed brand

Exciting day today as we reveal an evolution in the leadership team, with Linn Frost and Ashley Cooksley becoming Global co-CEOs and current CEO, Tamara Littleton becoming Executive Chair.

Global co-CEOs

Linn (former Europe MD) and Ashley (former CEO for NA) will now lead the overall strategic direction of the company on a global scale, to set long-term goals to help push our vision as well as identify key growth and expansion opportunities, whilst individually hyper-focusing on success in their respective territories.

Both bring unique qualities to the table that compliment each other and will drive the agency forward. Ashley has a proven track record of bringing in top clients, driving revenue and profitability, and building a sustainable business. Linn comes from a successful creative agency and brand-building marketing background.

Executive Chair

Reaffirming her commitment to the agency, founder (and recent Campaign CEO of the year winner!) Tamara Littleton, meanwhile, moves from Global CEO to the Executive Chair role. In her new capacity, Tamara will collaborate closely with Linn and Ashley, ensuring a seamless role transition and offering her invaluable insights to guide the agency’s trajectory. Importantly, Tamara will remain an integral part of the Board alongside Treena Hales, COO, and Wendy Christie, CPO.

Europe MD

Alex Attfield, former Client Services Director, has also been promoted to MD, Europe, and will help us grow across Europe whilst building creative and strategic capabilities, developing new clients and delivering high-quality client work.

All this… and a rebrand!

Alongside this restructure, we are announcing a new brand and visual identity. The decision to reimagine our identity stems from an imperative to adapt to the ever-changing needs of clients, coupled with a dynamic agency landscape.

With a vision to refine industry positioning, and reinforce core values, the rebrand arrives at an opportune moment and coincides with remarkable impact on clients and our significant contribution to the digital space both from a people and creative perspective.

The new visual system includes a new logo, typography, iconography and colour palette, supported by a new brand voice and architecture that draws inspiration from the ever-changing social elements needed to make social better than it’s ever been.

You may have seen some of the new branding start to roll out already but if not, you can see our holding page showcasing it and our latest explainer video here.

Tamara Littleton, Founder, Social Element says: “This has been several years in the making. It’s all about growing the company, and I’ve focused for years on building the best possible executive and senior leadership team and creating an environment where they can thrive. I have all of those people in place now, which has also meant that it’s the perfect time for me to take on this new role and empower them to drive the company forward. It’s a very exciting time for us all.”

Linn Frost, Global co-CEO, Social Element says:  “Ashley and I are both dedicated to creating an agency that has a legacy that can remain successful for years to come. Our goal is clear: to make social better by helping brands find and connect socially with their audience. Making social better is about creating real change and measurable results for our clients whilst working within the industry to ensure that platforms are a more positive place for everyone who uses them.

Social is ever evolving and our new structure and positioning has been designed to ensure that we have the right experts assembled at the right time and place to help brands navigate and harness its full potential”

Ashley Cooksley, Global co-CEO, Social Element says: “We’ve accomplished tremendous growth over the past three years, and know that we’re still at the tip of an iceberg with what we can achieve in this agency and industry. We have the right talent, experience, vision, and values to dramatically increase both revenue and profit. Our culture, growth, and approach has attracted top talent from other agencies and companies that haven’t recognized that how people want to work has changed. We continue to provide support and wellbeing because humans matter – parents, carers, multi-generational people with talents that shouldn’t be restricted by how the workplace is being defined by others . Social Element is the agency of the future, and we will continue to be the first port-of-call for brands that are ready to grow.”
