This significant achievement recognizes our outstanding work with Wrangler, the heritage American brand, as we successfully propelled it beyond its traditional roots as a western jeans company and attracted diverse new audiences.
Navigating the nuanced challenge of reaching new audiences without alienating the existing fan base, we at The Social Element crafted a customized TikTok strategy for Wrangler. Our approach seamlessly blended reactive engagement, including tagged and untagged moments, with proactive engagement, strategically leveraging non-brand mentioned moments to foster genuine connections. Notably, the latter involved manually training TikTok’s “For You” page to pinpoint appropriate opportunities for Wrangler to shine.
Over the course of 16 months, our agency identified and nurtured brand love while uncovering new and varied opportunities for Wrangler to organically appear in conversations. The results were nothing short of spectacular, with Wrangler’s TikTok follower count skyrocketing by an impressive 320% throughout the campaign period, which spanned from April 2022 to July 2023.
